(I just realized the text in the picture cannot be traslated using an online auto-translator, so, here it goes. It is going to be a rough version but better that google´s anyways.)

As stated by its name, the tail is the most notorious feature of this animal. From there on, the rest of the things defining the animal will become apparent. The ringed tail can make this animal recognizable, but it will not transmit anything else.
In this case, it is the distribution of the weight what will make a difference in the design. All the mass in the fore half of the body is distributed on the palms of the hands of the animal, directing the observer's look to the corner precisely opposite to the tail.
Also somehow, it makes the fact that this is an animal has skilled hands, more notorious, even if at this moment they are only supporting body weight. Maybe it even makes us intuitively know that the tail's out of proportion length, makes it not only a prehensile organ, but a balancing pole, or a counter weigh for the trunk and the head which allows it to maneuver during the leaps.
